目的　　　　：JUGAS(Japanese University Graduates Association of Singapore)
創立記念30周年事業の一環として、
世界中で活躍している沢井箏曲院の家元沢井一恵先生と
一行8名をお招きしてコンサートを開催する。
内容　　　　：所属する沢井筝曲院の発足者である沢井忠夫の曲を中心に、
独奏から合奏まで幅広い筝曲を演奏する。

ごあいさつ　：How long I have been waiting for today! I have been playinh koto for 30 years. I stopped playing the instrument for 5 years when I came to Singapore for the first time. When I re-started koto, my koto teacher Mr Sawai Tadao was ill. I practiced koto eagerly to fill up 5 years blank. Then I came to Singapore again. It seemed to me as if God gave me this opportunity to repay him. I felt it is my duty to perform Sawai's music, and move everyone's heart. I wanted to deliver the excitement and electrical shock, which I had experienced whe I heard Mr Sawai's music for the first time.

I have been thinking of Sugita Yoko Koto Recital and perform Mr Sawai's music myself, gradually I came to think I could not complete the concert without Sawai Kazue. Luckily, with a support of The Japan Foundation, we could invite Sawai Kazue and 7 Ensemble Koto members from Tokyo. I am happy to present Sawai Kazue Koto Ensemble to Singapore audience today. I greatly appreciate that JUGAS put this concert as a part of its 30th anniversary program.
